The Acorn Area measures the surface area of particles in suspension in typically less than 5 minutes and without any sample preparation. It’s ideally suited to looking at a wide range of dispersion questions such as how much surfactant do I add to optimise my dispersion, how do storage conditions effect my shelf life, is a different dispersant more effective etc. and monitoring processes such as wet milling to optimise costs.
