Catalytic Activity
Metal surface area and dispersion, acid/base sites, concentration and activation energy can all be reported by the Thermo TPDRO system. Capable of using a wide range of gases and vapours, the TPDRO can be used for chemi-desorption of reactive gases allowing the investigation of surface activity and reactivity of catalysts. Using the elegant reactor design two catalysts can be under test simultaneously, one in preparation and one submitted to the analytical sequence.
